My story is written in Briceño, Boyacá, a place in western Boyacá where the history of Colombian coffee began in 1787, specifically in the Vereda Media, which takes its name because our ancestors fertilized the coffee in the shape of a half moon. It is a corner of the Andes where nature gave us the exact conditions to create one of the best coffees in the world.
I, Freddy Carvajal, grew up learning that every bean is a treasure. My ancestors taught me to care for the land, to harvest only the best by hand, and to understand that our cold climate and high altitude are our greatest assets. This coffee is a faithful reflection of that teaching: select, smooth-bodied, sweet, and with a quality that meets the highest market standards.
